Medicare does not presently cover stairlift or bath tub lift products. Unfortunately, they do not consider these a “medical necessity”. Until this changes, all we can do is try to point the financially needy in the right direction. Hopefully the following information will assist you.

There are many church and other private organizations that provide financial assistance to people in need of medical devices not covered by Medicare or insurance.
